Stop Torture Series : Use of Sexual Violence as a Form of Torture

we launch video #3 in our “Stop Torture” series for International Day in Support of Torture Survivors #TortureVictimsDay2021. This video called “Use of Sexual Violence as a Form of Torture” shows how the #Myanmar military use torture against women detainees and civilian since the 1 February coup.

About us

There have been several impediments to access to justice in Burma. There are different approaches that can be taken to seek justice. As important as prosecuting perpetrators of violations is, enabling survivors to access reparations is essential for seeking justice.
